论文写作 | SCI论文中的比较和对比

“比较”和“对比”在SCI论文中的重要性是不言而喻的。通过合理选取比较对象、比较指标、数据来源，可以任意组合出自己需要的结论，预埋自己想挖的坑，让审稿人和读者都有一种“不明觉厉，难以辩驳”的感觉，让“the present study”“更高，更快，更强”，实现顺利发表和被引用。

长江后浪推前浪，如何让前辈死在沙滩上？比较！没有比较就没有伤害。在同一或者相近研究领域内，通过比较计算两个事物之间的相似性和差异性，可以增加读者对这两个事物的理解和学习。在这个过程中，我们既可以对具体的部分进行比较，又可以对整体进行比较。

比较也可能是评价的一个初步阶段。例如，通过比较A和B的具体方面，我们可以决定哪个更有用或更有价值。许多段落的功能是进行比较或对比，其开头一般会使用这样一些介绍性句子，如：

A和B之间有一些重要的区别。There are a number of important differencesbetween A and B.
A与B在许多方面都不同。A is different from B in a number of respects.

A在许多重要方面与B不同。

A differs from B in a number of important ways.

已发现有明显差异的领域包括A和B。

Areas where significant differences have beenfound include A and B.

然而，与早先的发现相比，没有发现A的证据。

In contrast to earlier findings, however, noevidence of A was detected.

程晓东（2022）发现 B和C之间A的下降速度存在巨大的差异。

Xiaodong Chen (2022) found dramatic differencesin the rate of decline of A between B and C.

A的DNA甲基化酶在几个关键方面与B的DNA甲基化酶明显不同。

The DNA methylation enzymes of A aresignificantly different from those of B in several key respects.

同样地，在某些时候需要对比，即比较A与B的相似性，这就需要使用下面一些句子作为开头：

A和B都有一些关键特征（相似之处）。Both A and B share a number of key features.
A和B之间有许多相似之处。There are a number of similarities between A andB.

A对基因组功能的影响与B相似。

The effects of A on genome function are similarto those of B.

A和B一般都是在 "安全环境 "下进行的。

Both A and B generally take place in a ‘safeenvironment’.

这些结果与（Smith等人，1951）报告的结果相似。

These results are similar to those reported by(Smith et al. 1951).

这个定义类似于（Smith，2022）中的定义，他写道：

The return rate is similar to that ofcomparable studies (e.g. Smith et al. 1999).

研究比较了人类和动物的A，发现它们基本上是相同的。

Studies have compared As in humans and animalsand found that they are essentially identical.

在SCI写作过程中，我们可以通过一句英语复杂句来比较两者之间的不同（显示我们良好的英文写作能力）：

在试验中，A比B犯了更多/更少的错误。Inthe trial, A made more/fewer errors than B.
A往往比B有更多/更少的言语流畅性。Atend to have greater/less verbal fluency than
B.在测试中，A比B更有可能/更不可能表现良好。

Aare more/less likely than B to perform well in tests.

在对目标定向运动技能的测试中，A更多/更少的准确。

Aare more/less accurate in tests of target-directed motor skills.

在感知速度的测试中，A往往比B表现得更好/更差。

Atend to perform better/worse than B on tests of perceptual speed.

在某些精确的手工作业方面，A比B更快/更慢，例如......

Aare faster/slower than B at certain precision manual tasks, such as …

当大脑前部受损时，A更容易/不容易患X。

Aare more/less likely to suffer from X when the front part of the brain isdamaged.

A的大脑连接两个半球的部分可能更多/更少。

Thepart of the brain connecting the two hemispheres may be more/less extensive in A.

有时候，我们可以使用逻辑联结短语（2句话）来表达两者的不同，例如：
